Do You Tip Mobile Repair Car

I had a mobile service engagement and my service guy was awesome. I didn't even remember of this until after he left, but I suddenly got a bit of a pit in my stomach yesterday when I realized I completely forgot to tip him. Then I wondered whether it was customary to tip them? Seeing as it's a somewhat new model for a car company to provide service at your location, I'thousand not sure whether at that place'due south a precedent. The "repair" was only putting the trunk panel back on and replacing some broken clips for information technology. He went above and beyond and topped off fluids even!

Im considering reaching out to him and request if he has a Venmo he'd like to requite me seeing equally I forgot to show my appreciation with a tip. Would that exist a weird thing to practise? What do you all think?

Good bespeak, I haven't. But I have tipped most others -who've provided services I've had done at my home.

Exercise you await Tesla is non paying their Techs an advisable wage for their piece of work?

I'd hope they do but I never tip on anything based on what I feel they earn otherwise. I tip for skillful service and task well done. I honestly thought most hither were gonna say a tip was mutual or even expected. The somewhat opposite reaction makes me experience a bit better haha.

Tipped? No. But I accept been known to deliver a case of imported beer on occasion.

I tipped because he txt me when he was 30 mins from my part. He called me upon arrival so I went downstairs and gave him key card.

He called 45 mins later when he was washed and I went downwards to get keycard and he explained the work he did.

The convenience WOWED me. He made it so friggin easy for me. It took 5 mins out of my day!

As a longtime technician, I have more frequently been tipped in coffee and beer than coin, but in about 10 years information technology has happened less than a dozen times. I certainly appreciated information technology, but never considered information technology necessary. -Jesse
